BIOGRAPHY

Stuart was born in Hawaii. His father was serving in the Army Air Corp at Hickcam AFB. He and his mother left for the states (Tennessee) after the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese when he was not yet one year old. After his father retired from military service the family moved to Atlanta, GA. Stuart married his wife Jayne Armour in 1963. They have three children: Alicia, Stuart, Jr., and Jessica. Stuart was a life insurance salesman. After Jayne's death he married Elaine Binder.

BIOGRAPHY

Lloyd's parents were railroad people and farmers.His early life was with his parents who started their married life in Shelby Co., TN and then moved to Galloway, TN, then to Wickliff, KY., and finally to Gibbs, Obion County, TN where his parents bought a farm. Lloyd joined the Army Air Corp around 1937 and was stationed at Hickcam Air Base in Hawaii when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941. He spent the rest of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater rising to the rank of Major and after the war to Lieutenant Colonel before he retired. He married Mary Elizabeth Green and they raised two sons: Stuart and Ross, both deceased. Lloyd had four siblings: Joseph Heber, Nina Faye, Chester Doyle, and Nathaniel Lowell.

BIOGRAPHY

Elizabeth was raised in Sequatchie County, Tennessee. She married Lloyd Lynn 8 Movember 1939. Since Lloyd was in the Army, she was a military wife and was with her husband and young son in Hawaii when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Soon thereafter she being with child and their son, Stuart, left for the states and spent the rest of the war in Tennessee with her and Lloyd's parants. After Lloyd retired from the Air Force, they lived in Atlanta where she was employed by Sears Roebuck and Co. in the mail order department. After Lloyd's death she continued to live in Atlanta near her sons until her death.
