Obituary: Chilhowie - Carl McFarland Boardwine, 81, died Sunday, Oct 2,
1988 in Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lakie Poston Boardwine. Survivors include three sons, Richard Lee Boardwine, James Cecil Boardwine, both of Saltville and Lloyd Eugene Boardwine of Baltimore.; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Nita) Woods, Saltville and Mrs.
Harland (Vivian) Hogston, Chilhowie, five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Osborne, Mrs. Eula Boardwine, Mrs. Leah Holmes, Mrs. Gaynelle Warner, all of Lebanon and Mrs. Rosie Boardwine, Saltville; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Courtesy; Troy Taylor.
