GRACE B. WHITE HAMMOND

96, passed away May 18, 2001 in Tucson, AZ. She leaves a legacy of love and devotion to her husband and family. Born in Washington, DC, she enjoyed an interesting life traveling the world in support of her husband and his work. Her husband, Leigh Mead Hammond and her son, Robert M. Hammond, precede her in death. Her survivors include two daughters, Martha H. (Loyal) Hart of Tucson and Margaret H. (Roland) Curtis of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. We bid her a loving farewell with happy memories and know her reunion with loved ones is sweet.

There will only be a private service.

Grace married Leigh Mead HAMMOND. Leigh (son of Rosser Meade HAMMOND and Martha Maddox) was born 21 Aug 1903, Culpeper, VA. [Group Sheet]
