She was a native of Corinth, Mississippi and the daughter of Ezekiel Samuel and Mary Ellen Candler of Cornith, Mississippi and Sheffield, Alabama. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro and the Murfreesboro Charity Circle. She was a gradutate of Sheffield High School and was a stewardess with American Airlines.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ezekiel S. Candler, Jr. She is survived by her husband, W. Henry Huddleston III and her children, William H. Huddleston IV, Ellen H. Willson and Benjamin C. Huddleston and seven grandchildren.

Services where held Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the First Methodist Church with Michael O Bannon officiating.
