Notes:

Some sources give her maiden name to be Fanning. Adam Petts and family appear on the census records beginning in 1820 in Wythe Co. VA. Delilah's age is the female age 10-15. They have 1 child under the age of 5. 1810 Census for Wythe County has John Fanning with 2 females under the age of 10. This is the right age, same location, so it may be a clue to proving this was her maiden name.
