Notes |
- Excerpt from Tate Families of the Southern States, Volume 2, by Laura W. Mentzel and Ethel S. Updike, 1984.
"He perhaps had a first name before Hood. He and Elizabeth were living in Barry County, MO. The Barry County, MO 1850 Census was very dim, but a neighbor gave names of his children and there in this file."
