She was born on July 22, 1918 to the late George D. Wamsley SR. and Mary Sylvia Coleman Wamsley. She lived the last 7 years in Craigsville and attended the Church Of Christ. She is survived by her son; Thurman "Rimfire" Glenna Christain of Cowen and son-in-law George Phetterplace of Cowen, daughters; Alice Adams of Eubank, KY., Mary Ison of Vandalia, OH., Lela Bolser of Craigsville, and daughter-in-law Naomi Christian of Cowen, sisters; Nova Rose of Tornado, WV. and Barbara Detloff of Racine, OH. 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-children. She was preceded in death by her husband Thurman Christian, sons; Henry and George Christian, daughters; Mayme Dutton, Debbie Phetterplace and daughter-in-law Tessie Christian, sons-in-law, Ray Adams, Buster Dutton,Ed Bolser and Gary Ison and 2 granddaughters Arpil Dawn And Rhonda Christian, and by her brothers; Doyle Wamsley Sr. Eugene"Gene" Wamsley, George Wamsley Jr. Joseph Wamsley and Johnny Wamsley. Service will be held on Wednesday August 22 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home with the Minister L.H."Sam" Gwinn, Minister Mark Coffman and minister Greg Ison officiating. Friends may will be received from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday August 21, 2012. Burial will be in the Odd Fellow Cemetery Cowen.
