McMILLIAN Ina Scott McMillian, 92, of Mount Airy, N.C., died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Twelve Oaks Rest Home and Alzheimer's Unit in Mount Airy. She was born July 13, 1914 in Patrick County and was a daughter of the late Thomas Taylor Scott and Ethel Hiatt Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett C. McMillian; a sister, Marie Rodriquez; and a brother, Carlie Scott. She was retired from Spencer's Corporation and was a member of Grace Moravian Church. She was also a long-time member of the Northern Hospital of Surry County Auxiliary where she served as a Pink Lady. Surviving are two sons, Hubert McMillian of Mount Airy and Maynard McMillian of Greensboro, N.C.; one sister, Elsie Montgomery of Mount Airy; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at the Moody Funeral Home chapel in Mount Airy. The Rev. Charles Fishel will officiate. Burial will be in Skyline Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Moravian Church, 1401 N. Main St., Mount Airy, N.C. 27030
