  Notes	OBITUARY Greensboro News & Record EDEN Joyce Boatwright Johnson, 73, of 606 Briarwood Dr., died Tuesday evening, July 22, 2003, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born in Richmond, Va., and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eden. She served on the Morehead Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees and was a lifetime member of the Morehead Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are husband, William Thomas Johnson, of the home; sons, Billy Johnson and wife, Mary, of Norwood and Tommy Johnson of Eden; daughters, Joy Conner and husband, George, of Eden and Jennifer Boyte and husband, Darrell, of Eden; grandchildren, Kendall Johnson-Priest, Eric Johnson, Caitlyn Boyte, Hunter Boyte, Jenny Conner and Meg Conner; great-grandchildren, Cameron Phipps, Riley Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Marley Priest; brother, Fred Boatwright and wife, Ruth, of Powhatan, Va.; sister, Shirley Berman of Richmond, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Boatwright, brother, James Boatwright and sisters, Virginia Pflueger and Mildred Boatwright. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home, 606 Briarwood Dr. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Morehead Hospital Foundations Capital Campaign or Morehead Hospital Auxiliary, 117 E. Kings Hwy., Eden, N.C. 27288.
