  Notes	Obituary for Rodney Dare Collins Rodney Dare Collins, age 60, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home. He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of Lillian Beavers Collins of Cedar Bluff, Virginia and the late James A. Collins, Jr. He was a 1971 graduate of Richlands High School. Rodney worked for several years as a telephone technician in the area. He was always known for wearing his black cowboy hat. Rodney was a member of the Richlands Fire Department and a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. He was a lifelong resident of the area. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Marie Collins. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: Two Sons: Rodney Collins, II and wife, Carrie of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Scott Collins and wife, Angela of Richlands, Virginia Two Step Sons: Matthew Counts of Bristol, Tennessee Tyler Counts of Bristol, Tennessee Five Grandchildren: Hannah Collins, McKayla Collins, Sierra Collins, Jadin Collins and Bryson Collins Two Brothers: Jeff Collins and wife, Marie of Yuma, Arizona Kerry Collins and wife, Mary Alice of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Special Friends, Lou Collins and Tom Helton A host of family and friends also survive. Funeral service for Rodney Dare Collins will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with Rev. Rick Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm ? 9:00 pm on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
