Notes	OBITUARY VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. ? Rose Marie Tate, 61, of the 800 block of Caribe Place, passed away on Oct. 27, 2007 in Norfolk. Born in Benham, Ky., and formerly of Big Stone Gap, Va., she was the daughter of the late Marvin Creed and Rosa Leigh France Tate. She graduated in 1968 from the Medical College of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and was currently employed as the Director of Risk Management at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. She was a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management and past president of the Virginia Chapter of ASHRM. Surviving are a sister, Sue Ellen Tate Baker and her husband, Gary; a nephew, Jessee Baker and his wife, Destiny and daughter, Kyleigh Shinpaugh; aunts, Ida Fraley of Big Stone Gap, Mildred Tate of Kingsport, and Bea Tate of New Paltz, N.Y.; an uncle, Fleet Tate, of Big Stone Gap, Va.; and numerous cousins. She will be greatly missed by her EVMS family, her extended family in Virginia Beach, and her special friends, Annie Butler, Sam McClanahan and Debbie Taylor. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Eastern Virginia Medical School at www.evms.edu. Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, Chesapeake, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
