  Notes	OBITUARY Richlands News Press; 25 July 1979 MRS. EDITH S. STOWERS Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Shinall Stowers, 44, of Gillsville, GA, formerly of Richlands, who died in an automobile accident Monday, July 16, were conducted Saturday at Tazewell County Funeral Home chapel in Cedar Bluff with Rev. Clarence Dishman officiating. Burial followed in Hankins Cemetery at Richlands. Born in Tazewell County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Pearl Bailey Joyce of Richlands and the late Robert Henry Joyce. Additional survivors include two sons, Mike Shinall of Pullman, WA and Kenneth Stowers of Lewiston, ID; one sister, Mrs. Alice Webb of Paradise Pines, CA: two brothers, Dan and Jimmy R. Joyce, both of Cuyhoga Falls, OH; one grandchild and five step-grandchildren. Friends served as pallbearers.
