Notes	OBITUARY Ronald D. Sorrell, 55, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2010, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. He was born Dec. 18, 1954, in Ashland, Ky., a son of Barbara Williams Sorrell Johnson of Ashland and the late Andrew J. Sorrell Jr. He was a 35-year employee of Windstream Communications and a member of Meade Station Church of God and the Communication Workers of America. He was a 1972 graduate of Boyd County High School. Additional survivors include his wife, Barbara Hill Sorrell of Ashland; daughters Sara Sorrell (James) Rollins, Sammie Sorrell, Heather Johnson, Mandy (James) Fryer and Kaci Nicole Giberson, all of Ashland; sisters Donna Sorrell (Bill) Greene of Ashland and Karen Sorrell of Minford, Ohio; grandchildren Cody Whitt and Jacob, Hannah and Kali Fryer; nephews Steven (Becky) Thompson of Ashland, Trenton and Austin Henson of Minford, Ohio, and Jason Harmon of Ocala, Fla.; nieces Andrea (Michael) Rue of Versailles, Ky., Tracy Salyers of Virginia and Samantha Smith of Williamson, W.Va.; and a host of loving extended family members and friends. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Rob Jordan. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 1, 2010, at the funeral home.
