  Notes	OBITUARY Wayne Douglas Flanagin, 68 of the Gratton community in Tazewell, VA died Monday, April 4, 2016 at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital. Born August 4, 1947 in Tazewell County, VA, he was a son of the late Raymond and Nannie Mae Chambers Flanagin. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War. Wayne was a former coal miner, member of the UMWA, and also formerly worked with the Tazewell County PSA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Flanagin and Dorothy Swim. He is survived by his wife, Martha Herald Flanagin; two daughters, Kimberly Keyton and husband, Michael of Roanoke, VA and Nancy Rebecca Mullenaux and husband, Jerry of North Tazewell, VA; four sisters, Shirley Horne and husband, Earl and Linda Lou Williamson and husband, Bernard all of North Tazewell, VA, Dale Ketchum and husband, John of Mudfork, VA, and Nancy Horne and husband, Wayne of North Carolina; two brothers, Harrison Flanagin of North Tazewell, VA and Richard Matney of Grassy Spur, VA; three grandchildren, Rebecca Ileen Sawyers, Wesley Ryan Sawyers, and Isabella Mullenaux; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Susan Griffith and Joe Osborne. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Friday, April 8, 2016 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA where funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM with the Reverend Kenneth Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where military graveside services will be conducted Barns Beavers VFW Post #7136 of Tazewell, VA.
