Soon thereafter she being with child and their son, Stuart, left for the states and spent the rest of the war in Tennessee with her and Lloyd's parants. After Lloyd retired from the Air Force, they lived in Atlanta where she was employed by Sears Roebuck and Co. in the mail order department. After Lloyd's death she continued to live in Atlanta near her sons until her death.
