- He had under his father's will half of his father's farm which lay in Portsmouth, bounded north by Stony Brook. In 1729 George Huntress, of Newington, cordwainer with Elizabeth his wife, conveyed to his elder brother Christopher of Newington, bricklayer, all his right under the will of George Huntress his grandfather, and at once bought a lot 40 x 70 feet on Pickering's Neck in Portsmouth.
In 1742/3 George Huntress, cordwainer, with Elizabeth his wife took Pelatiah Moses as apprentice.
George and Elizabeth probably had other children.
Huntress was received into the covenant, renewed his baptismal covenant
A warrent was issued authorizing he and Tobias Lear, both
to appraise the estate of Sarah Martyn.
