MATTIE ALTIZER Mrs. Mattie Ringstaff Altizer, 90, of 301 Center St., Richlands, Va , died at her home Monday following a long illness. Born at Pounding Mill, Va., she was a daughter of the late John and Susan Ray Ringstaff. She was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Richlands and was preceded in death by one son, four brothers and two sisters. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Ray Altizer of Richlands; one son, William G. (Bill) Altizer of Richlands; two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Richlands with Rev. Cecil K. Herrin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Clyde Barrett, Claude Barrett, Steve Cooley, Jim Boyd, Gerald Breeding and Howard Patton.
