  1. 1.  Hezekiah Adkins was born 20 Sep 1759, Halifax Co. VA; died 19 Mar 1842, Wayne Co. VA (now WV).

    Notes:

    He was a private in the American Revolution. His name is listed on the Revolutionary War Plaque of Giles County soldiers at Pearisburg, Giles County, VA.

    He also was a missionary Baptist preacher for over 50 years.

    Sometime between 1800 and 1807 Hezekiah moved his family to Beech Fork near present day Winslow in Wayne County, West VA.
