    OBITUARY

    Fayola M. Galloway, 72, of Danville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at her residence.

    She was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Casey County to the late William Lewis and Opal Cook Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack L. Galloway. She was a faithful member of Fort Logan Church of Christ and a former sales clerk for Wal-Mart. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, cooking and spoiling her grandchildren.

    Mrs. Galloway is survived by her two sons, Darren (Tammy) Galloway and Billy (Melissa) Galloway, both of Danville; two daughters, Tammy Clark and Judy (Tim) Wallace, also of Danville; two brothers, Ronald (Martha) Cox of Texas, and Billy Wayne (Kathy) Cox of Florida; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special aunt, Christine Cox, of Danville.

    In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Mack Dwayne Galloway.

    Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home with evangelist Wayne Galloway officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

    Pallbearers will be Gary King, Tim Wallace, Aaron Genton, Cory Hoffman, Willie Baker and Bo Gander. Honorary pallbearers are Dickie Cooper and Morton Million.
