OBITUARY

Patricia Ruth Whitaker passed away after a long illness on 2/11/2019. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Ray Whitaker who passed in 1973.

She was born on April 20th, 1932 and is survived by one sister, Dicye Faye, two sons, Denver and Terry, their wives, Andrea and Elaine, a special niece, Amanda, and five grandchildren.

Patricia was a homemaker until the passing of her husband. Following that time she worked as a maid at The Greenbrier Hotel for 16 years. She had a mischievous sense of humor, loved to cook, can fruits and jams, and give jars of her home-made apple butter to her neighbors and family. She tended her flowers and garden, and enjoyed the companionship of her beloved cocker spaniel, Bo. Patricia will be greatly missed.

Service will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February, 17, 2019 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor Glen Kuhn officiating. Burial will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
