OBITUARY

POWHATAN, Va. - Mrs. Susan Kay Thompson McClain, 51, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at her home. Born July 11, 1951, in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Kyle and Eura Fuller Thompson. She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roby Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Chris McClain of the home; one son, Joshua Allen McClain of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three sisters, Kitty Lusby and her husband Maurice of Prince Frederick, Md., Nancy Bensing of Annapolis, Md., and Evonne Thompson of Prince Frederick; two brothers, R.L. Thompson and his wife, Kay of Big A Mountain, Va., and Joe W. Thompson and his wife, Shirley of Honaker; and several nieces, nephews, loving friends and compadres.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, with Rev. Clyde Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the Thompson Cemetery on Big A Mountain.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Thompson, Jason Davis, Doug Schwartz, Wesley Lusby, Charles LaPort and Jack Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clinton Thompson, Rodney Boyd and Mike Honaker.

Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Friday.
