    Some researchers speculated he died without issue as had no heirs listed in Christian lawsuit after Thomas Bailey Christian died. However it is possible he had moved into Cherokee territory at this point and may not have wanted to be part of the lawsuit.

    Tazewell Co. was part of Wythe Co. at this time.

    Died:
    The other possibility for his place of death is in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory which could be NC. More research needs to be done to substantiate this.
