Funeral services were today at the Poland-Thompson chapel for Mrs. Vera Belle Logue, 67, a life long resident of DeKalb and Clinton counties. Burial was in Graceland cemetery. The Rev. John Gooding, Chillicothe, afficiated.
Mrs. Logue died Friday in San Mateo, Calif., at the home of a daughter, Mrs. LaVerla Elliott. She had been in California about three months. Mrs. Logue was a glass sculptor and ran a ceramics business in her home here.
Survivors include six other daughters, Mrs. Elsie May Walker and Mrs. Billie Jo Pemberton, both of Cameron; Mrs. Alta Mann, Kidder; Mrs. Jean Ensign, Kansas City; Mrs. Charlene Ellis, Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Leona Fitzwilliams, Rogers, Ark.; 3 brothers, Milton Rice, Cameron; Glee Rice, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Walter Rice, Richmond, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Meyers, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Ada Wright, Independence; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

MRS. VERA LOGUE
Mrs. Vera Bell Logue, daughter of Henry E. and Icey Rice was born Nov. 17, 1899 and died Jan. 6, 1967 at the home of a daughter in California. She was united in marriage to Charles Edwin Logue Mar. 10, 1919 who preceded her death. She was a member of the RLDS church of Cameron.
Survivors are eight daughters; Mrs. Leona Fitzwilliams, Prewitt, Ark.; Mrs. LaVerla Elliott, San Mateo, Calif.; Mrs. Elsie Walker, Hamilton; Mrs. Juanita Kellerstrass, Cameron; Mrs. Alta Mann, Kidder; Mrs. Jean Ensign,
Overland Park, Kans.; Mrs. Charlene Ellis, O'Fallon, Mo.; Mrs. Billy JoAnn Pemberton, Cameron; two sisters Mrs. Clifford Myers, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Joe Wright, Independence; three brothers, Milton Rice, Cameron; Glee Rice, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Walter E. Rice, Richmond, Calif.; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral was held Monday at Thompson-Poland Funeral chapel with Rev. John Gooding officiating.
